Ever since childhood, I’ve been a musical person. At the age of seven, I started taking piano lessons. When I was a teenager, I began singing solos at community events. Not surprisingly, I adore wind chimes. Every time the wind blows, these beautiful music makers spring into action. Their soothing, melodious, and high pitched sound calms and refreshes me. I am amazed at the amount of eclectic wind chimes available for sale at various retailers. One can enjoy the music of pig, cat, or even seashell themed wind chimes. If you know someone who enjoys natural harmonies, wind chimes make a perfect gift. On this blog, you will discover how to buy the right set of wind chimes for your loved one. Enjoy!

Need New Sunglasses? Here Are Some Tips For Buying The Perfect Pair

Tyler Morgan

When you're shopping for sunglasses, you want to find a pair that looks great with your face shape and skin tone. Fortunately, sunglasses come in a wider variety of styles and colors than regular glasses, so you have a lot of freedom to find a style you love. However, you don't want to buy sunglasses based on looks alone. You also want them to protect your eyes from sun damage. Here are a few tips for buying a pair of awesome sunglasses.

UV Protection

UV protection is very important. Look for a sticker on the frames that says the lenses offer 100 percent UV blockage. That way, you can stay outdoors in the sun without worrying about the sun's rays harming your eyes. Don't rely on price alone to help you choose the most protective glasses. Inexpensive sunglasses can offer 100 percent UV blockage, and paying more for expensive frames doesn't necessarily mean you will get better protection from the sun.

Polarized Lenses

Polarized lenses are nice because they block glare. They have no effect at all on UV protection, so ideally, you want sunglasses that block UV rays and are polarized too. You'll appreciate these lenses if you spend time on the water swimming or boating. They are also very useful for driving because they block glare and make it easier for you to see.

Colored Lenses

You can buy sunglasses with lenses in a variety of colors. Some are very dark, while others are light. The best color of your lenses is up to your personal preferences. Dark lenses do not provide more protection than light lenses. The color alone does not block UV rays. Therefore, you don't want to buy glasses with very dark lenses thinking you'll get UV protection.

Protective Shapes

If you spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun, you may want to buy over-sized frames or frames that wrap around the sides of your eyes. This will block the sun from entering the tops and sides of your glasses, and give you an added measure of protection. Fortunately, large frames are stylish and the wrap glasses provide extra space for decorative embellishments, so you can get this added protection without sacrificing style.

The perfect sunglasses not only make a fashion statement and complement your wardrobe, they are also just as important as wearing sunscreen when you spend a day in the sun.
