Wind Chimes, the Gift of Music
About Me
Wind Chimes, the Gift of Music

Ever since childhood, I’ve been a musical person. At the age of seven, I started taking piano lessons. When I was a teenager, I began singing solos at community events. Not surprisingly, I adore wind chimes. Every time the wind blows, these beautiful music makers spring into action. Their soothing, melodious, and high pitched sound calms and refreshes me. I am amazed at the amount of eclectic wind chimes available for sale at various retailers. One can enjoy the music of pig, cat, or even seashell themed wind chimes. If you know someone who enjoys natural harmonies, wind chimes make a perfect gift. On this blog, you will discover how to buy the right set of wind chimes for your loved one. Enjoy!

Packing Tips For Your Resort Vacation

Tyler Morgan

There's something seductive about the idea of just tossing a couple swimming suits or golf outfits in a bag and heading off to your resort vacation. Such light packing is certainly possible, even commendable. After all, resorts feature gift shops where you can supplement your suitcase's contents. So, what items do you really need to pack, and what's best left for the resort shop?

Swimwear

Whether heading to the beach, the pool or the spa, a swimming suit or two is necessary for most resort vacations. Can you just pick one up when you arrive? That depends on you. Some people can go into a store, pick a swimming suit in their size and have it fit more often than not. If that's you, then plan to buy a keepsake suit at the resort. Otherwise, pack at least one swimming suit.

Casual Clothes

Resort shops typically feature as many attractive T-shirts as you can want. They also offer a range of clothing options specific to the type of vacation. You'll probably pick up a few of these items anyway – you might as well leave the space open in your suitcase.

Hats

If you're planning on spending any time outdoors – and you probably are – bring at least one hat. You may want to wear it as soon as you arrive. However, leave space for a second hat in your suitcase. Resort shops feature everything from caps to elaborate concoctions that you'll never see in your local department store.

Toiletries

Toiletry items are widely available in the shops. They also are some of the heaviest, and most restricted, items you'll pack. However, some people are loyal to specific brands, or have skin sensitivities. If that's the case with you, plan on bringing at least your skin and hair toiletries.

Beach Towel

More often than not you'll be provided with towels suitable for your water time. There will also be dozens available for purchase. Towels take up a lot of space in suitcases – leave yours at home.

Shoes

Your everyday and even evening shoes are probably indispensable. Pack those pairs. However, there's no need to take up space in a suitcase with flip flops. Just like with hats and towels, you'll come across many varieties for sale that aren't available at home. Plan to purchase them on site.

Other Essentials

Besides shoes, your day-to-day clothes and evening attire need to come with you. Obviously, bring all medication in their original packaging. Don't bother with a first aid kit, though. In the unlikely event you need even a Band-Aid, you can easily pick supplies up at the shop.

In the end, USA Today recommends going over the resort website for all the items included in your vacation and only packing the other supplies. When you're planning to head to a resort like http://viejas.com/, leave out items that are easy to pick up on-site and revel in how light your suitcase is.
