Wind Chimes, the Gift of Music
About Me
Wind Chimes, the Gift of Music

Ever since childhood, I’ve been a musical person. At the age of seven, I started taking piano lessons. When I was a teenager, I began singing solos at community events. Not surprisingly, I adore wind chimes. Every time the wind blows, these beautiful music makers spring into action. Their soothing, melodious, and high pitched sound calms and refreshes me. I am amazed at the amount of eclectic wind chimes available for sale at various retailers. One can enjoy the music of pig, cat, or even seashell themed wind chimes. If you know someone who enjoys natural harmonies, wind chimes make a perfect gift. On this blog, you will discover how to buy the right set of wind chimes for your loved one. Enjoy!

How To Decorate With Miniature Flags For A Party

Tyler Morgan

If you're planning a party for Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or Labor Day, miniature flags will give any venue a patriotic touch without breaking the bank. The flags will make a big visual impact and are easy to transport to and from any party space, as well as store and save for future celebrations.

Decorating with miniature flags is appropriate for a wide range of special occasions, including kids' and adults' birthday parties with a patriotic theme. You can also use them to enhance outdoor events such as family reunions and corporate picnics.

If you need more than a handful of the mini flags to decorate a party venue, such as a banquet room or a restaurant event space, you may be able to save money by purchasing them in bulk online. The flags will also come in handy as charming party favors at the end of the event.

Here are some tips for decorating with miniature flags at a party:

1. Floral Displays

One easy and eye-catching way to decorate with mini flags is by incorporating them into floral displays, which you can use as table centerpieces. Start by choosing the type of vessel that you'd like to use, such as glass canning jars or red, white, or blue vases.

Create bouquets using red and white flowers, including carnations, roses, lilies, or baby's breath. For an eclectic look, you can also have white flowers dyed blue. Using faux flowers is another option, and may be more cost-effective because you can reuse them later.

Insert one or two mini flags into each floral bouquet, depending on the sizes of the jars or vases. As a fun touch, place unlit sparklers into the displays as well. If you want to use the displays as party favors in addition to table decor, place one by each guest's place setting.

2. On the Food Table

Use the miniature flags to add plenty of patriotic eye candy to the food table as well. Place one small toothpick flag into each cupcake, for instance, or insert them into cheese cubes on a charcuterie board. Toothpick flags also look cute in glasses when inserted into fresh fruit or vegetables, depending on the type of drinks you're serving.

Insert mini flags into jars of red, white, and blue gumballs, gummy bears, or any other type of candy for a sweet look. Patriotic candy jars are a fun idea for summertime baby and bridal showers, as well as high school or college graduation soirees.

Visit a local store to buy miniature flags.
